Erika grew up right here in the Fox Valley and started dancing at the age of 2. She has trained in many styles but her favorites are lyrical and hip hop. In high school, she danced with the Kaukauna Varsity Dance Team and started assistant teaching classes her senior year. Erika went on to earn her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education at UW-Stevens Point, but she didn’t lose her love of dance. Through college, she continued teaching dance and competed with the university’s dance team at statewide and national competitions. Erika moved back to the Appleton area after graduation and is currently teaching 6th grade science at Freedom Middle School. When she is not dancing, she loves practicing yoga, going to the beach, and cuddling with her dog, Ella. Erika is so excited to continue sharing her passion and creativity with the students at New Fusion.
